I am a design researcher and educator working in the area of textiles and materials. My research interests include design for sustainability, collaborative working in the design/science space and the role and value of craft knowledge within these contexts. I am an Associate Professor in Textile Design and Director Academic at the  College of Creative Arts at Massey University in Wellington New Zealand. I am also an editor of the Journal of Textile Design Research and Practice and a co-convener of the Interdisciplinary Textiles Design Research Society Special Interest Group.
